I started this project on June 9th in 2024, and sat down to write a new episode every single week. During this time, my process and even the appearance of the newsletter have changed a lot. But this description of myself from the very first episode is still perfectly accurate:
I love long walks and pondering the meaning of it all. I am especially fond of questions regarding consciousness—what is it? How does it work? Why do we suffer? You get the idea.
Exploring my mind and sharing the discoveries will never get boring, so I’m planning to write this newsletter for the rest of my life.
Let’s assume I keep writing till I’m 80. That would be another 2500 episodes – meaning today I have only written 3,85% of all the newsletters I will ever send! That’s really exciting, knowing how much I have already learned from this weekly habit.
Thank you so much for being a part of this project! Here’s to the next 100 episodes 🎉
And if you know anyone at all who might be interested in these topics, you could help me out a lot by sending them your favorite episode or suggesting they check out my homepage: https://adrianschug.com/
My Question To You
What would you like to see?
If there is any topic or question you would like me to address, I would be excited to hear it. The same goes for any other suggestions you have or anything you’re missing. Just reply to this email or send one to mail@urth.blog ✉️
I’m currently looking into an interesting framework called VIEW by Joe Hudson, which a reader suggested (Thank you, Jay!)
That’s another thing I hope the newsletter will increasingly do: act as a social magnet. By talking publicly about my passions, struggles, and thoughts, I want to attract interesting, nice people. And even with the ones I already know, the newsletter impacts topics and conversations.

The Rest Without Guilt course is the coolest thing I’ve built so far. For this special occasion, I have updated and polished it even further. It’s packed with my favorite CBT ideas – and even though there is a focus on productivity guilt, you can really use the tools to assess and reflect on anything.
I was planning to give it away for free in this episode – but I know that if I got it completely for free, I wouldn’t use it properly. So instead, to celebrate 100 episodes of LIFE ON URTH, you can now save yourself some therapy for less than a cappuccino:
Does this sound familiar? Instead of relaxing, your mind whispers: “You should be doing more.”… Read more Get the course! |
The Tavern 2
I always wanted to use generative AI to create cool visuals and make videos. The second one is finally done. I had to figure out lip-syncing and a bunch of other things to make it work, must’ve taken me at least 20 hours to finish this – watch it here.

I want to expand this newsletter’s format by responding to reader comments and questions. Of course, I’ll need some comments and questions first 😂 So I’d love to hear from you!
Did something in my writing catch your attention? Was there an idea you found particularly intriguing? Or is there a question that’s been on your mind related to these topics?
